At present bar gratings have started being replaced with other types of floors made from metal. It is explained by the fact that characteristics of bar gratings external view, quality and price exceed considerably almost all other types of floorings.
Metal bar grating is a metal product made from bearing and cover elements. Bar grating may be manufactured either with a framing or without it. One of bar grating types is a pressed bar grating, the elements of which are made from metal bars.
Pressed bar grating can be made from stainless steel which allows using in food production and the external view of the grating is such that it can be used as a decorative element.
At present pressed bar grating is used not only for the purposes of various industries but for implementation of various architectural solutions related to exterior and interior finish.

Pressed bar grating is manufactured according to DIN 24537 from welded steel (for example, from ст3 according to ГОСТ 380-94 РФ) by cold pressing of bond bars into bearing bars. Bar grating is manufactured without coating or with hot galvanized coating according to DIN 50976 (EN ISO 1461) ГОСТ 9.307-89 РФ. Some types of pressed bar grating can be used from stainless steel grades 08Х18Н10, 10Х17Н13М2Т or their analogues.
Bar gratings are pressed under pressure of 100 TN on special equipment.

Pressed bar grating is manufactured with maximum sizes 2,200 х 2,400 mm, where 2,200 mm is a maximum size of a bearing bar and 2,400 mm - a maximum size of a bond bar.

ATTENTION! Standard pressed bar grating is manufactured with the following sizes:
2,000*1,000 mm, where: 2,000 mm – bearing bar size, 1,000 mm – bond bar size.
A bond bar fixes bearing bar and BEARS NO LOAD.

Sizes of cells and bearing bars are indicated in the PRODUCTION PROGRAMME table.
Bar grating type is selected based on bearing load data indicated in the table of loads for bar grating.

In conditions implying high risk of skidding from snow, ice, lubricants and moisture it is recommended to use a pressed bar grating "Serrated" type with anti-skid
teeth.

Technical data (sizes of cells and bearing bars, weight of one square meter) of anti-skid teeth bar gratings are similar to technical specifications of standard bar gratings. Load characteristics of such gratings are converted with use of conversion factors indicated in the table of loads for bar grating.

Pressed bar grating P framing types:

	TYPE А Standard framing type. Framing height is equal to bearing bar height. Grating bar ends are framed.
	TYPE В Framing height is 5 mm. lower than bearing bar height. Grating bar ends are framed.
	TYPE D Grating bar ends are framed. Used as a protective rib on technical maintenance sites.
	TYPE Е Grating bar ends are framed. Used in cases that a bearing bar is lower than a support profile.
